¿Qué significa perder una lucha? by Arnau Sala Saez

Nothing seems solid anymore; everything can crumble. Amid the growing polycrisis we are experiencing, the state of things loses consistency and gives way to a fragility that feels increasingly close, gradually permeating everything. Listening to these recordings, I’m struck by doubts about the meaning of triumph or defeat in relation to struggles—especially within this fluid space where tension arises. During the process of listening, this duality stops feeling real. What defines whether a struggle is won or lost? Is it solely tied to the gain or loss of certain material conditions? Perhaps these were ephemeral from the start, and society as a whole has ultimately chosen to ignore them. Yet, after experiencing defeat, the longing for liberation tends to grow, motivating new struggles. Fragility gives rise to an ongoing process of social transformation that is itself impermanent but interdependent.
