Video recordings of the Freesound Day talks
On the 28th of October of 2025, we celebrated the Freesound Day. The Freesound Day brought together members of the Freesound community for a full day of talks, listening, and exchange around sound practices connected to Freesound. Hosted at the Campus Poblenou of Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and simultaneously open to online participants, the event featured a diverse program of presentations by artists, researchers, developers, and sound enthusiasts. Speakers shared personal workflows, technical insights, artistic projects, and anecdotes that highlighted the many ways Freesound has been used, shaped, and reimagined over the past 20 years.
